From time to time, a picture emerges that causes you to feel like its been there all along. A song, a lyric, a tonal quality that points you to a place. A place that you have already been, but have yet to go. Listen to Benny Hester all over again,for the very first time.
There is something very therapeutic about the process of writing a song. Fleshing out an idea from a single thought to a complete story is a journey that I enjoy being on, as painful as it may be.

Sooner or later, I think we all face the music, either literal or actual. Sometimes the best answer is so obvious that we refuse to act on it.
